Good news - we significantly increased our image base and added new themes. Use sort by date and you'll find a lot of interesting stuff. News not so good - July 29 we disable free of charge downloads of high resolution images. Some more good news - July 29 we expand the site functionality (we introduce advanced search, lightbox, new more comfortable interface).

Hi! When you have disabled free of charge downloads of high res images, how will things work then? Will you have subscription methods, or charge per image or how will it work? I think the lightbox feature is great news!

Great for you guys, really sucks for the rest of us. The free images was one of the main reasons I loved this site. I don't have a credit card, which means I can't subscribe even if I wanted to.

Hello Liezl One of the main reasons of paid functional introducing is the struggle against mirrors of our website and against illegal publishing of our images in various galleries and file interchangers. We didn't think about those, who don't have credit cards or payment system accounts. We will do our best to solve this issue. Though it will take some time to do that. Till the time we find the solution we are going to provide you with 40Mb a month for downloading images in all resolutions.

Que pena, sem dúvida é um dos melhores sites de imagens que tive a oportunidade de conhecer. Pena que no final, tudo acaba virando comercio. Ainda tenho fé, de que isso vai mudar, assim espero! A diretoria do site, poderiam olhar um pouco mais para usuarios comuns, afinal pagar $ 3 ou $ 4 dolares por imagens pode até parecer pouco, mais se é um apaixonado por fotografia como eu, que gosta por lazer, acaba não compensando pagar até $10 dolares por imagem. Hi. We lessened images' size for free downloading intentionally and probably won't change anything as we consider this size to be quite enough. Moreover, paid image will help us enlarge the image base, add new themes, improve new functional of the website. We believe that $2 price is not a big sum for it.

Hi Though I do understand the reasons behind photl charging, sometimes it is a trawl to find things you actually need. I always felt this was worthwhile as it was a free site, and though the charge is correctly not much, it is a complete headache as lack of credit card. I hope I choose to come back to photl in the future most probably will be forced to get a card just to find cheap images. As I designer of twenty five years who started his own company 2 weeks ago this really isn't the best news cheers for all the freebies in the past guys

Hi After all, recently we introduced payment option via SMS to simplify this problem. Though, if you need any image, but you do not have any credit cards or any payment system account to pay for a plan, please contact us here or at support@photl.com. So we will give you a plan for free.

hi, I am now stay outside and I have only a VISA Debit card that I trid to pay for extend plan ( 7 $ ) by it in pay pal but the system did not accept it . can i send you money by banl transfer form another country to your accont for example for one year plan. This site was the best free picture site. Sorry for new, not-free model. Like other payment site... I will search a new site for hi-res images. :-(
